LUNAR ECLIPES 2/20

Although this eclipse is mainly visible
in the countries bordering the Atlantic
ocean, most readers of this newletter,
including the United States can look
forward to a total Lunar Eclipse on
Wednesday evening (Thursday AM for
Western Europe)

The moon this time will barely fall
totally inside the Earth's shadow at
time of "full moon", so it will be a
brighter total eclipse than usual,
with the moon becoming a "copper penny".

The total eclipse will begin at 8:15pm
Eastern Time, that is 7:15 Central,
6:15 Mountain, 5:15 Pacific, and 0115
Universal Time. Totality comes at 10:01
and lasts until 10:50 Eastern..
A reminder.. You can view the eclipse
safely without any protective
gear ---- even a telescope.

Enjoy!
